Heavenly Chocolate Rice Krispie Cakes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp Golden Syrup
  • 150 grams Milk Cooking Chocolate
  • 90 grams Unsalted Butter
  • 125 grams Rice Krispies Kellogs are great!

Instructions
 

  • Remove the butter from the fridge and cut into small pieces to help the melting process
  • Melt the chocolate in either in a microwave or in a pyrex bowl over some hot water (if you are doing it in the microwave, be careful not to burn the chocolate - the bowl approach will prevent that)
  • Add the butter to the chocolate and stir in until it has all melted
  • Stir in the syrup to the mixture
  • Add half the Krispies into a large mixing bowl and slowly add the chocolate. Keep adding them until you have completely covered the Krispies.
  • Use a spoon to scoop the mixture into cupcakes
  • Leave to cool
  • Optional - use the spoon and scrape the leftovers off the side of the bowl - eat immediately! Yum!
